Funny how the headline leaves out abc, CBS and NBC. Also, none of these companies are blocking google tv, they are just not agreeing to let google shows their shows at the price google is offering, sound businesss moves by all so far.

Murdoch is getting a little desperate. Myspace, now this. He's is trying to hold on to his old business model while the world is changing. That won't last forever. Besides, haven't the arab and the Australian already done enough damage.

Any reputable service would be blocking Fox in the first place.

They're talking Fox Broadcasting--not news. That means no Sunday "Animation Domination" lineup. While I can leave Seth McFarland, The Simpsons are a must.

Proving once again that the creation of a single device that will deliver all broadcast and internet content to your TV or Computer screen is a pipe dream. Copyright holders own the material and are free to sign with anyone be it Apple, Hulu or anyone else.

Don't the commercials run with the program?

Seems like something could easily be worked out here.

I think the solution could be simple. For example, right now, if I want to access ESPN3.com I can do so from home and it knows that I have access to it because of the internet provider I am using. If I access it from say Starbucks, then I need to sign in with my ISPs login and password so they know I am authorized. Same thing here, if you already have Fox or whatever on TV you get the commercial free version of their shows. If you are just an internet subscriber the shows have the usual commercials, no skipping. That would make the broadcasters happy.
