First Posted: 11/11/10 05:16 PM ET Updated: 05/25/11 07:10 PM ET

From the brand "Salsa -- Fits My Life" comes a true revolution in denim wear: reversible jeans. Dubbed "The Two," the pants are dark wash on one side and lighter on the other. They retail for $179 and made their debut earlier this year.

Take a look and tell us what you think.

Quick Poll

Reversible jeans:

JEAN-ius! I'd totally buy a pair.

Ridiculous. Don't put those near me.

These are just what we all need. Pants with double padding. I do like the flannel lined ones though. They're great for snowmobiling.

My freshman college roommate must have invented these. She mostly wore sweats and t-shirts and was a slob. After wearing her t's and sweats for a couple days and getting them coated with food stains she would simply turn them inside out and wear them for a few more days. I don't miss her.

Yup; I know people who do the same with their underwear and socks. Seeing someone wearing this style would make me wonder about their laundering habits.

I like the idea. There's nothing like having your favorite pair of jeans, where the fit is so perfect, it acts like magic on you...Even buying three or four pairs of the exact pair, does not guarantee identical fit. This way, you can get twice as much wear from a favorite...

...Which wouldn't be the case with your FAVORITE jeans.

Not bad. At least for the price, you're getting two pair! Denim's overpriced anyway; and paying hundred's of dollars for a pair of jeans is just plain ridiculous; and the more you rip, batter and tatter them, the more pricy they are! Go figure! LOL!

who would seriously buy reversible jeans? i've seen a lot of bad denim in the world but these take the cake for the most tasteless pair.... no matter who they are on.

These are just TOO cool! Too bad they're so pricey...and don't come in plus sizes...I'd wear 'em..only if they were straight leg/skinny/stretch...

$179 for a novelty pair of jeans. They seem like something that would be sold on late night tv in an infomercial.

The day that I spend $179 on a pair of jeans ... is the day that I have lost my mind .... as for these jeans , they are ok ... it's nice that you can wear them 2 different ways ... but cost way to much ....

it's not the price that bugs me.... just that both sides are ugly. i think denim should be a bit simpler yet better made. i don't want any gimmicks but nice fabric and great tailoring.... other than that; keep them plain as heck.

If the jeans aren't bulky or look like you're walking around with a load in your pants then they might be great. I remember the jeans that came out for men in the late 90's that were lined with plaid flannel. Guys who hunted and were outside in rough weather really liked them. But they were bulky. Men, though, aren't as worried about looking heavier, IMO.

Those jeans are still worn by guys who live in the chillier parts of the country. My husband wears them from November to March and manages to rock them pretty well.

That's nice to hear! You must be in a cold climate. Those kinds of jeans are pretty popular up north like in Michigan and Maine. I'm glad your hubby still "rocks" them!

Lined Jeans have been around for a very long time. I remember wearing them as a child, and I don't think they ever disappeared completely for segments of consumers. World history did not start in the nineties.

Gee, really?? I wasn't talking about kids pants but whatever. I never said lined jeans were a brand new invention of the 90's, just that they were a popular item then.
And no one said "World history" started in the nineties. sheesh! Crabby, much?
