To this day, one of the strangest sites we've ever seen is Brighton's Royal Pavilion. Built for Prince Regent (who became King George IV) between 1787 and 1823, the Pavilion is home to a remarkable collection of oriental art and chinoiserie.

Check out not just the insanely ornate home but the beautiful gardens surrounding the estate.
