President Hu Jintao Taunts Barack Obama For Owing China $800 Billion On 'SNL' (VIDEO)

First Posted: 11/14/10 02:53 PM ET Updated: 05/25/11 07:10 PM ET

Last night's "Saturday Night Live" opened up with a sketch about President Obama's recent trip to Asia for the G-20 conference. During a routine press event, things get awkward when China's President Hu Jintao brings up an $800 billion debt owed to China by the United States.

President Obama, played by Fred Armisen, promises President Hu Jintao, played by Bill Hader and translated by Nasim Pedrad, that China will indeed get its money back, but the Chinese President keeps insisting that Obama is lying and "doing sex" to him instead. He even goes so far as to put on lipstick and bend over.

But one of the funniest parts of the sketch happens when President Hu Jintao asks why President Obama is spending $200 million a day on his trip to Asia while the country is in such economic turmoil. When Obama says this isn't true, China's President reveals that he heard Glenn Beck say it. Obama responds:

"Again, let me be clear. Glenn Beck has no idea what he's talking about."

The truly darkly funny part here is that some Americans think Glen Beck does know what he is talking about and think they can get Pell grants or scholorships to attend Beck U.

Am sure many here love to hate Beck, but never really take the time to watch him. I hate to be the harbinger of bad news folks, but the fact of the matter is that like him or not, he has been 100% spot on in his assessment of this administration and the direction this country is headed in. While many may view his views as extreme, he is nothing more than a well researched pragmatist who clearly understands the dynamics at play. While I am sure this post will garner the usual round of insults and childish rants for lack of an intelligent argument to the contrary, I challenge you to turn on your objectivity switches and actually start watching the man. You might be surprised - I know I was, especially in the context of what is happening in the workd around you today.

What luck. I just happened to pop in. Excellent satire. It almost sounds like you sincerly believe that nonsense. Does your town have one of those Socialist libraries? You should visit it.

Well wasn't able to see the skit, but I am sure it was pretty funny. However, no matter my dislike for Obama he shouldn't be the one to blame for the amount we owe China. It all started before he became President. Although, he is spending more money traveling and completing his own agenda which in turn is causing us to have greater debt. He may have been a good Senator, but he has no clue how to lead a country.

You're right, no other president in out history has travelled. He should spend all his time at his vacation homes in the US, ala George W.

I have an idea.

Why don't we offer to trade the Chinese our "red states" in exchange for cancelling the debt?
01:07 PM on 11/15/2010
Because an hour later they will want the "blue states"!
01:52 PM on 11/15/2010
Because an hour later they would invade us and without the red states there would be no defense. I guess we could offer them lots of legal weed, though.

China shouldn't get a dime until they put a legitimate government in place.

Well, they did lend us the dough.

Hilarious. I'm gonna tell that to my Credit Card company. I'm not gonna pay off my balance until they lower my interest rate, and choose a bank President that I like.

The skit was funny, but the sad part is that Obama is being blamed for the bailouts and the deficit when it was bush a REP who pushed for the bailouts and it was government that did not pay the bills that they say they tax us for instead invested that money and from what I understand lost it all who knows if they really lost it and let SS, Public Schools Retirements ride. What happens when anyone falls back on paying their bills, it harder to catch up. These people should have paid the bills we paid the taxes for not invest to try and make more money. I am not an Obama fan, but at least get the story straight. he has been trying and the wealthy and Republicans have been fighting him all the way.

So that explains the hatred of Obama...

What is really funny is how HUFF POST buried this in the comedy section, instead of on the front page, which is when they agree with the skit..........................

SNL is the joke. I honestly can't imagine how they continue to book big names. The philosophy seems to be that they need to double down on every joke if they don't get enough applause as if repetition is the only necessary factor in comedy. They're like Republicans, thinking they can simply say it over and over and someday people will get on board with it. After 25 years, I am scared to admit they both might be right. So many have become sheep.

It would be, if it wasn't so repetetive. It's way better when you can tape it, and fast forward through the ends of the skits, and also, the commercial segments, which seem to run in equal time to the actual program: six minutes of skit, six minutes of commercial. Then one 4 minute song by the musical guest. Guess what follows? Yep, 4 minutes of commercials.

Thanks for the input Captain America. Too bad the reality is that Obama would slap the pee out of you. Sure is easy to pretend to be tough over the internet though, huh?

lol I am 6'4" and 220lbs. I would take Obama down with a leg sweep, end up on top of him and proceed to destroy him.

Here is a little visual of what would happen. Enjoy.

This episode was pretty bad in my opinion. The skits weren't funny and even the awesome Arcade Fire sounded kinda... terrible.

Arcade Fire is more of the same old indie butt-rock we've all been force-fed in recent years.
