Eagles Accuse Redskins Safety Of Spitting

After the Philadelphia Eagles destroyed the Washington Redskins 59-28 on Monday Night Football, Eagles center Mike McGlynn reportedly accused Redskins safety LaRon Landry of spitting in his face.

"Landry came and spit in my face, and that fired us all up," McGlynn told Tim McManus of Philadelphia Sports Daily. "We all want to play the game with all the respect in the world, but when you're disrespectful like that. ... I just think there has to be more respect for the game than that."

Philadelphia receiver DeSean Jackson said that before the game, Landry was talking trash and said, "I'm going to put you asleep again."

This is the second consecutive week that an NFL player accused someone of spitting in his face.

Last week, Miami Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder accused Baltimore's Le'Ron McClain of spitting on him.
