She is an elegant young woman. I think that she has a great sense of style. He loves her and that is all that matters.

She is elegant even in her glowing disco outfit. Also her sense of humour will be helpful when having those inlaws.

She seems quite elegant. I hope they have a much happier marriage than Charles and Diana had. Her hats are very cool.

Diana, your boy is getting married. The ring is less about the bad marriage and more about william's including and remembering his Mum.

Kate Middleton belonged to that group of well-off, privately educated young women to be found at St Andrews University and known collectively as the “hair-flickers”. They are tall, striking and usually (but not necessarily) blond typically wearing Barbours, pashminas, tailored tweed jackets, padded bodywarmers and pearls. They are mainly English but if not they are “preppy” American transfer students from the Ivy League notable for an even greater awareness of family lineage. Some may even be Scots but these will have accents just as cut-glass as their Southern sisters though they are generally more skilled on the ski slopes. They are highly decorative, brightening a winter’s day in the auld grey toun, and geriatric natives like myself would be quite lost without them.

Obviously, she has the "hat thing" down already...........should be good to go.
I know that I am just "weird" for thinking this.........but there is NO way that I would want to wear Diana's ring on my finger for the rest of my life.

I agree. It's beautiful but it's got a lot of bad mojo.

I feel exactly the someway about the ring. If I were Kate, I would want my own ring. Diana's ring seems to have bad karma attached to it. It was a sweet gesture on Williwm's part, however

It takes a lot of skill to wear those hats, and she wears them well. Work it.

Seems a well thought out situation. I think they will probably get a long fine. Folks need to remember when charles married Dianna she was 18 yrs old and he had only met her once before the engagment announcment, which was 3 weeks earlier for about an hour....an interview.
They were married about a month later.
Charles married Diana because his father told him to...for God, for Queen, for Country... and the Commonwealth, it would appear this marraige is a much different story.

The engagement was in February 1981. They were married in August 1981. How does that translate into a "month"?

Looks like a pretty young woman - what's with the English women and those hats?

Good luck to the couple.  They'll need it.
