Sarah Palin Outlines Checklist Of Presidential Candidate Requirements (VIDEO)

Sarah Palin Presidential Candidate

Sarah Palin provided a brief bit of insight into her ideal Republican presidential candidate Monday, repeating her earlier claim that she'd be willing to run if nobody else possessed what she views as the proper credentials.

While speaking mainly about character and the proper level of "conservatism" before, Palin added a key qualifier this week: someone who is "electable."

Here's what she told Fox News:

"I do not know, but I'm certainly going to take a good lay-of-the-land look, and see if there are others out there, who are electable, who are willing to make the tough decisions, won't care what the heck the media says about them, but will do the right things and shrink the government so the private sector can thrive.

If there are others out there, willing to do that and make the sacrifices, I'll support them. If there's nobody else, I would do it."

As Christian Heinze of GOP 12 points out, those characteristics, particularly the "won't care" about the media, are beginning to sound a lot like the way the former Alaska Governor likes to portray herself.

As for her electability, however, the latest round of polls shows little certainty in the way of numbers.

Will Sarah Palin run for president in 2012?

She's got her work cut out for herself if she's going to take a "good lay of the land" literally XD

This woman wouldn't know what makes a candidate "electable" if it hit her in the face with a 2x4. Shooo, go away now and sit on your porch, read "ya know, all those types of magazines that everyone reads," and enjoy your view of Russia.

you know there is definitely a lisp that is more pronounced that years ago....interesting....second...a candidate that woulnd't care what the media says about her/him.....that definitely leaves sarah out...........she scours the media daily to find out what has been said about her.......and she didn't really stand up to the good old boys to defeat Frank M for governor.....he was the most unpopular governor in our state's history......Satan could have beaten him......big deal....but she and image makers portray it that way.....her record....again sarah and image makers.....privatize business...no problem but not the way she did it.....the state run dairy conveniently went to friends of hers and went broke not long after with most of the equipment and moneys unaccounted for.....and those friends without a successful record for running a business......yeah folks....search out the truth.

Liberal Talking Point #436 - if you can't think of anything intelligent to say, say something anyway.
#436a - but don't talk about the issue, for crying out loud; attack their looks or family.

Why do I have the feeling that this alleged "Liberal Talking Point" list is a muddied, overephotocopied list that has "Bush/Quayle '88 Strategy -- Top Secret! Do Not Release!" scrawled out with a Sharpie and "Libural Talkin Pts." written above it?

When did she develop a lisp?
03:47 PM on 11/18/2010
wondering the same thing. I thought when her upper lip looked funny and she sounded different in the cable clip, it was because it was cold outside, but something is definitely is different. Not that it matters, just curious...

Sarah Palin's Presidential checklist:

1. Hire more nannies
2. Figure out a job for Todd once I get elected (Could I establish a "Department of Snowmobiling")
3. Take an on-line course in Constitutional law (use an alias!)
4. Learn a lot of big words online so I can add them to my vocabulary.
5. Learn how to say hello in a whole lotta languages. (Maybe teaching the leaders of other counties to say "you betcha" would be fun!)
6. Order subscriptions for conservative magazines (maybe add Time or Newsweek to get some leftwing talking points. (The hard thing will be to read 'em, I'm soooooo busy. LOL!)
7. Shop for new wardrobe (I can afford it now!!!)
8. Call bumper sticker company & order ones for all my catch-phrases
9. Practice my old beauty pageant hand wave
10. Keep doin' outdoor stuff & make sure the cameras are rollin' when I do it
11. Go on Fox News a lot more before I announce my Presidential bid
12. Check with my lawyers to see if there is a way I could avoid interviews with the "lamestream" media while running. (I love that term & I own it!!!!)
13. Check on doing the same for debating
14. Speak at an NRA convention & be photographed holding my rifle (It's actually Todd's but who's going to know)
15. Decide whether to announce my Presidential bid on Fox News, Twitter or Facebook. (I''m kinda leanin' toward Twitter, fast & easy.)

My ideal presidential candidate: Not her.
