Exactly what was Deborah Kenny's role in being de Blasio's counterpoint? Dark Ages, really? Ph.D, really? Columbia University, really?

She was more useless than Enron stocks.

Common sense is way too uncommon.

Fairly obviously you had a decision formed on Ms. Black before you watched.

Dr. Kenny is bringing an effective method to teaching -- she lets the teachers teach. What a novel idea!! She knows that teachers are not well represented by the teachers' unions interests. So yes, Dr. Kenny was a good counterpoint to discuss the appointment.

I take it that someone that you loved with a PhD from Columbia didn't love you back?

The woman who never spent a day inside a public school, Cathie Black’s role as NYC's new school chancellor will be to obliterate the teachers’ union, Not to improve the quality of education in the city

I'm a teacher in Brooklyn and I don't know of ONE who says they don't want to hear her views about education. She's just trying to win an argument. I don't think she's being genuine. I need to know her ideas because her ideas affect my job.
