Christopher Bryant Busted For Selling Heroin With Two-Month-Old In Car

Mn Busted For Dealing Heroin With A 2-Month-Old In The Car

A 29-year-old man faces a maximum 60-year prison sentence for his latest drug offense, which he perpetrated with his infant child in the car.

On September 1, Bryant sold 1.4 grams of heroin to a confidential informant. Six days later, he sold to the same informant in the same place; when police moved on his car, they found a woman in the driver's seat, and a two-month-old in a car seat in the back.

According to the Post Tribune, the buy took place a few hundred feet from Morton High School, on the 6800 block of New Hampshire Avenue in Hammond, Indiana.

After 30 minutes of jury deliberation, Bryant was convicted of two counts of drug dealing, resisting law enforcement, possession of marijuana, and the sentence-enhancing fact of being a habitual substance offender.

His sentencing hearing will be held on December 16.
