Real Housewife Sonja Tremont-Morgan Files For Bankruptcy, Blames John Travolta

Sonja Tremont-Morgan, one of the new stars of Real Housewives of New York, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Wednesday in Manhattan.

The 46-year-old socialite listed $19.8 million in debt and $13.5 million in assets on her bankruptcy petition.

I can't read the article at work - but I will give my two cents anyway: don't actors get insured for movies, like Lindsay Lohan was just dumped from the Lovelace movie because they can't get insurance on her - and isn't that in case the actor pulls out and doesn't finish the movie?

or have I completely made up a wrong article.

Ok i just checked our Sonja Productions site and they have only one other film to their credit "The Marsh' which was released in 2006, the same time as the law suit. Also here's another tidbit in 2006/2007 they HAD funding for 5 movies in the area of $25-$50 Million for each film, so where's the money?

It couldn't be that her spending was out of control and that she was living far beyond her means? It is so easy to blame others for your own mistakes but she should also take responsibility for her situation. When people play the role of victim nothing is their fault but in reality they let it happen.

No more Nello's for Sonja. I'm also going to take a wild guess and assume no more Hamptons for her either. Renting a house for 450,000 grand for 2 months doesn't really make much sense in hindsight. Don't worry though, all she needs is a good sugar-daddy to take care of her. FAIL!!
