Harvard Group Apologizes For Yale Spoof Video (WATCH)

Posted: Updated:

A Harvard comedy group has apologized for a video that poked fun of the murder of Yale graduate student Annie Le.

The group, On Harvard Time, released the spoof admissions video earlier this week. It was made to mock an earlier video done by Yale's admissions department. In the five-minute video, one performer asks: "What happened to that girl that got murdered and stuffed in the wall?'' -- a reference to Le's killing.

In a statement, the group said that their "intention was to comment on Yale's guarded treatment of their crime problems," and the video was "not meant to make light of the incident or those involved, but rather to mock the University." The group has since removed the line from the video.
