Spencer Bachus (R-Ala.), as the senior Republican on the panel, is in line for the spot, and Rep. Ed Royce (R-Calif.) is challenging him. This insiders' tussle has drawn Sarah Palin into the fray. Yet in her desire to add Hill powerbroker to her resume, Palin has demonstrated that she is a Wall Street bailout hypocrite.

If you were to ask any of Palin's followers which side they'd be on in the English-only debate, they would all forcefully take the side that everything in America should be English only. But what language is Sarah speaking here? It's like she failed her ESL class badly.

At this rate, HP will be giving Sarah Palin & Family an entire section of the website, like the new 'Divorce' and 'Dinner Family Conversation' sections.

I don't know why Sarah Palin is in the politics section at HP.  She quit her job as governor, and now works as a broadcaster and reality show performer.  She always was just a 'personality' in media and entertainment, playing at being a governor and quitting when it got too 'real' for her.  Her daughter has been crowned a 'star' (achieving national celebrity for promiscuity that resulted in out-of-wedlock teen parenthood) so that she could appear on another reality show ('Dancing With The Stars').  Another case of corporate media bad-messaging, providing role-models for our youth that show them shortcuts to fame and fortune instead of through education, commitment, hard work, experience and achievement.

What do you say, Arianna?  When Glen Beck says something about Obama, it's not in the Political section, but in your Media section.  When Martin Sheen is arrested for sitting in at some political rally, it's in your Entertainment section.  

Make it official:  Get the Palins out of Politics and put all stories about them in your Entertainment and Media sections.

The problem with living in Alaska and trying to be relevant to the rest of the nation is that AK is where merely 700,000 people live in relatively "frontier" conditions. Palin has never seen an urban slum (let alone many), hasn't visited crumbing schools, hasn't toured manufacturing plants or mines, hasn't seen unemployment lines from her front porch, let alone the UN -- and all of this makes her experience (and education) both parochial and irrelevant to the rest of us and to the presidency, which is scarcely the same as the no-responsibility of mayor of Wasilla.

P.S. Hi 1differentdrummer; After graduating high school from Punahou School in Hawaii, Barack Obama attended Occidental College for two years, then got his B.A. from Columbia University. He later got his law degree from Harvard Law School (where he became the Harvard Law Review's first African American president), graduating magna cum laude. Obama was also a lecturer of constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School. Then he ran for president in 2008. After the election in November 4, 2008 he was elected President of the United States.
