Cedric Miller AFFAIR: Facebook-Banning Pastor Admits To Threesome With Wife And Male Church Assistant

NEPTUNE TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- A New Jersey pastor who said Facebook was a "portal to infidelity" and told married church leaders to delete their accounts or resign once testified that he had a three-way sexual relationship with his wife and a male church assistant.

In Saturday editions of the Asbury Park Press, the Rev. Cedric Miller confirmed the testimony he gave in 2003 in a criminal case against the assistant. The relationship had ended by that time, and the case eventually was dismissed.

Miller gained national attention this week when he issued the Facebook edict. He said it came about because much of the marital counseling he has performed over the past year and a half has concerned infidelity stemming from the social network site.

The 48-year-old leader of Living Word Christian Fellowship Church in Neptune Township claimed Facebook ignites old passions.

This weekend on internet radio show "Center Stage" they discussed the topic
"Blind Sheep following a Lost Shepherd," that pretty much sums up what's going
on with this congregation. Now they have decided he will take 90 days off then return
as their pastor. That said, the panel on Center Stage consisted of ministers and
pastors and they discussed this scandal as well as that of Eddie Long and Jim Swilley
according to scripture, and I don't remember anyone saying he should remain as the
pastor. One of the guest was Bishop Prophet H. Walker, he's the South Carolina
preacher who held a rally in Atlanta demanding Long step down. Take a listen to the
dialog, then you decide if the church is doing the right thing.

Is this pastor a hypocrite? What were his sermons on about monogomy & gay/bisexual relationships? Did he specifically preach to his flock FOR THEM to remain monogomous in their relationships? Did he preach to his flock FOR THEM to not have gay/bisexual relationships? Does anyone out there know where he publically stood on these matters? I haven't seen any info on this yet.

The Rev. Miller should be honest/responsible for all he does in life. When one is chosen to publicly minister, God prepares one for the journey of political, social, educational hardships, naturally and spiritually. Yet, overcoming some things is more difficult and takes more time than others. Remember, "Make righteous, (just, fair) judgments". And, be assured, that we will meet the same kind of judgments, also. Alive, still. Forgiveness can be sought and given. The things we go through, honestly, will make us far better than any enemy.

When asked which is the greatest commandment, Jesus replied,

"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it. Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." [Matt22:37-40]

Doesn't get any simpler than that. I love the bible as a great source of wisdom, but do not suffer fools who would force their interpretation on anyone. Let the fools be fools and trust your own faith.

Most of these zoot-suit wearing pastors are just con-men out for money, sex, or likely both. They are very charming with a gift for gab. Most of the congregants elevate them to deity so it's like taking candy from a baby for these guys.
