'Family Guy''s Brian Does 'Real Time' With Bill Maher, Arianna Huffington & Dana Gould (VIDEO)

Last night's "Family Guy" took a live-action turn when Brian the family dog appeared on "Real Time With Bill Maher" to promote his new book "Wish It Want It Do It." Brian appeared alongside our own Arianna Huffington and comedy writer Dana Gould to discuss whether or not religion has a place in politics, among other things.

Brian didn't have an easy time legitimizing his book to the "Real Time" panel, and clashed in a particularly funny way with Arianna, who said his book had "less substance than a 'TV Guide.'" The two continued to trade insults thoroughout the program, with Brian referring to her "Zsa Zsa" and Arianna responding, "What's your problem, Snoopy?"

I don't know if anyone else noticed it, but I especially loved Brian's reflection in the table. It was a nice touch.

Had Arianna delivered the lines she did on Family Guy on her own blog she would have been moderated.

Dana Gould is actually funny. Family Guy is like chemotherapy for laughter. Waste of talent.

Didn't the Bush dog write a book too? Or was it their cat? So when is Obama's dog writing a book?

"Barney's Tale," excerpt one: "I didn't take nearly as many craps on Washington as Bush did."
