We've been running the best weekly recipes from Food52's innovative crowdsourced recipe contest and cookbook project for a while now, and since Food52 is cultivating the web's premiere collections of home cooks' recipes, they've put together some of their best from the past year that could round out your Thanksgiving table -- including starters, sides & desserts. That Boston Greens salad is sooo on my list now. Looks delish.

But I confess that for the first time this year I'm going untraditional. I'm making Kung Pao chicken. I don't know why but I think I've got thanksgiving turkey burnout.

I'm not much of a cook but have always loved to read recipes; add the wonderful pictures and I'm full. Well, maybe just one more pumpkin carmel...

That cranberry sauce looks great, and easy enough that I could actually make it.

Yummm! All these recipes sounds great. Like most, I looked for some ways to cut back on calories and found a great recipe book on http://sweetleaf.com/. Check it out... I guess we always forget how many empty calories there are in sugar!

Pink greens. Love the name. Looks good too. I would love to have some of these recipes but since I go to my best friends mother's house and even though we do all the cooking, everything must be the same as always. The only change I have been able to bring about is to get rid of that nasty canned cranberry jelly for my homemade cranberry orange relish. And that took a while to get done. She would still insist on getting the canned and no one including her would eat it.

Food52 usually has tasty ideas!

I launched a geographic gastronomy on my humble little blog to trace the roots of more traditional stuffing and dressing recipes: http://ozarkhomesteader.wordpress.com/2010/11/08/your-thanksgiving-dressing-and-stuffing-recipes-gathering-a-geographical-gastronomy/
Readers have posted a couple dozen recipes, but I still welcome recipes from all over the US and the world!

I call my 'dressing' because it gets 'stuffed' in a corning ware caserole, the dutch oven to the set I was given when I got married, Dec 26 1975
