Bristol Palin's 'Dancing With The Stars' Finale: Will She Win? (VIDEO)

First Posted: 11/23/10 09:14 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 07:15 PM ET

Bristol Palin braved death threats to compete in Monday night's 'Dancing With the Stars' finale--once again coming in at the bottom of the leader board, below Jennifer Grey and Kyle Massey.

Bristol's first dance was an attempt at redemption from the disastrous jive in a monkey suit she did a few weeks ago, and the second one was freestyle--in which she gyrated in a cage to 'She Had it Coming' from Chicago.

"There's lots of haters out there that are waiting for me to fail," Bristol said. Voting is closed as of Tuesday but each contestant will perform two dances Tuesday night for judges' scores to add to their Monday totals. Will Bristol win?

I do lean conservative and I do admire Bristol's ability to get out there. That takes a lot of confidence at that age especially when people are devoting articles and blogs to her. I didn't think she was awful like everyone says but she obviously was no Kyle Massey or Jennifer Grey. That said, some people just have it and some don't when it comes to dancing... I fall under the don't category so maybe thats why I sympathize with her!

maybe she can try again after the baby is born?

Bristol may have improved during the show, she never deserved 9's. I believe the finals were fixed. Judges rated 9-9-10, for Jennifer and Kyle. Then 9-9-9, for Bristol. Seems fishy, to me. For one, she is not a 9 - let alone a 10! The show just didn't want any backlash, had Bristol 'won', so it must appear as if she legitimately 'lost'.

It's not fishy at all, when you consider that the show was rigged to boost ratings.

Typical Tea-bagger scenario....they can win the Primaries with a lackadasical Candidate when all the crazies vote...but in the General Election, when more people vote and aren't limited to Party etc...true talent(non-craziness) wins in the end.

Just my opinion....but I think she is a pretty girl...with a good figure...and she certainly tried.

But she has an attitude...and her dancing reflects that...
She appears to be a very closed off person...not showing much emotion...unless it is directly related to her.
When Brandy was voted off...all Bristol did was mouth a whew!
And she really seemed to feel her efforts were worthy of winning this contest.
Did I hear booh's from the audience when she was finally counted out ?
Bristol seems to have her mom's ability to block out everything
but what she feels needs and wants.
I still cannot believe she lasted as long as she did.

I don't think people are waiting for her to fail. I think they see that she can't dance and think it's unfair for the tea party to vote for her, because they like her mother. She can't dance, but she doesn't seem to realize that it is a dancing competition and her really bad dancing (she looked dead sometimes) should not be rewarded. I'm amazed that she didn't drop the lbs - which says to me that she probably really did not work at this. But mom doesn't work at anything and is rewarded, so I guess she thinks that's the way the world works.

fanned, my feelings exactly. I actually feel sorry for her.  She is a person of very little emotion about anything except revenge. Her remarks about giving the finger to people who did not support her was soooo un -ladylike and not at all classy. I guess you live what you are taught, poor girl.

Thank God Palin did not win, because you can be sure that since Grizzly mama uses her children to advance herself, she would have understood a victory for Bristol as a sign for her to WIN in politics. The media, not Liberal, as you can see from the way Mama Grizzly uses them, needs to STOP giving the stage to every upstart who is capable of attention getting in the worst way. The media has been absent from the scandal of the sex slave rings operating in cities in the US. A recent discovery. SHAME ON THE CORPORATE MEDIA who are owned by such entities as Disney, General Electric and Rupert Murdock.

I remember Bristol saying she was going to be the most modest contestant on the show, she's sure modestly shaking her chest every dance, it seems like the only step she knows.

To be fair, I think Bristol made a lot of improvement over the course of the show, but that is the idea isn't it. She did well, but Jennifer was better. Jennifer was better than all of them from day one in my estimation, but I am just one person. I am glad Bristol had a chance to get out from under her Moms thumb.

I agree. Bristol has made significant improvement since Day 1. I'm not an avid viewer of the show, but from the shows I've seen, Jennifer is my fav. She's 'fierce'!

I agree as well. Bristol shouldn't have made it this far - she did improve. I am not one you overtly critizes Bristol - I still see her as a kid in a lot of ways, but there were much more talented people on this show.

Yeah, her Mom had her foot on her neck, or up her behind. Her Mom is the only reason she was on this show. Sad. Would be nice to keep the kids out of it, but the parents constantly bring the kids into it. Very sad, very low class.

Can she do something besides wriggling with her chest? That;s just plain embarrassing!
