I am surprised Reagan is one of the busiest. Reagan is never busy.

Sigh.

I so do not want to travel on Sunday but have to for work. I wonder if I can charge double for "hazard" pay. ;)

The next slide show should be post-Thanksgiving and someone should report on the airports with the worst TSA staffers, the ones who cause the most unwarranted humiliation:

It would be funny if all these airports were virtually empty this holiday season. Thanks, TSA!

Well, it took me nearly 16 minutes to get a yogurt at the Eureka California airport because they were so damn busy.

You've been warned!

I try to avoid O'Hare at all costs. Midway is much easier, but even then you could be in trouble if the weather is bad. I once was stranded for three days in O'Hare and died from exhaustion. I got better. ;)

I don't know how it stacks up to these air ports but the DFW was a mad house last year.

Peronally, I think Orbitz should be sent into orbit. Priceline is much better. William Shatner is an embarrassing hoot in their commercials... but fun to watch at times.

You forgot London Heathrow. Why? Well you have all those thousands of Yanks scrambling around to get a flight back to the States for Thanksgiving. Fortunately for them no intrusive pat downs. I believe BA added more flights just to cope with the melee.

Dumb headline. These are the ten busiest airports everyday of the year, not just Thanksgiving.

Oh! and San Juan International. Why? Well all the Spanish Americans flocking to the gates in order to spend Thanksgiving with relatives in Miami. BTW who writes these stories? Obviously someone who has not ventured from the office all year ne'er mind having traveled anywhere.

Expect increased aggression from TSA at the airports, they have been further empowered by their false flag operation in Boston.

As predicted the government staged a false flag operation in Boston to discourage objections to TSAs illegal search practices. Back in line sheep.

I question whether publishing this information is a good idea?

Busy airports are driven by college students running home for 5 days and airports that serve as hubs.  DC, Boston and NYC are huge college towns.  Denver and Atlanta are hubs.
01:16 PM on 11/23/2010
Chicago is both a college town and a hub.

Atlanta has Georgia Tech, University of Georgia, Georgia State University, Emory University, and about two dozen other schools.

GT and Georgia State and UGA are state schools and most of the kids are in state.
