Barr previously served as Treasury Secretary Robert E. Rubin’s Special Assistant. Rubin, you might recall, destroyed much of the planet's economy by deregulating Wall Street derivatives.

Farrell is (was) a free market booster who published a lot of go-go paper on how the global economy is soaring, right up to September '08, then crickets. She of course was an ex-Goldman Sacs White House employee.

Two more bail. Are there any left ?

More and more people are bailing. Obama is not what he said he was and it's too bad so many people believed in his dream. He's just not a strong person. A huge disappointment.. I hope the Dems are thinking about plan B

President Obama: I voted for you, and will again should you run.
May I offer a suggestion?

Replace the economic 'experts' with an ordinary working person. Try something new for different results. Uh -- someone like me.

Replace them with William K. Black and Janet Tavakoli...

No matter how Geithner fumes and objects.

Oh look! A Clinton administration Wall Street official looks to be replacing Larry Summers.

"Roger Altman, a Wall Street executive who was a deputy Treasury secretary during the Clinton administration, has emerged as one of several top candidates to fill Mr. Summers' spot."

Hope and Change = More of Same.

We should have elected Hillary Clinton. She has a backbone.

The Wall Streeters can safely leave and go back to huge paying private sector positions. They easily flattend the slightest chance that big Democratic majorities and a mandate from the people to 'change' would actually cause change, after Wall Street sent the country into a massive Crash . The Republicans and gridlock should keep the Wall Street centered Status Quo well in check for the next 2 years.

Obama needs to stop pussyfooting around with the nay-sayers on Capitol Hill. Get some heavyweights who can stare down Republicans. Someone has suggested a Russell Crowe "type". We need good spokesmen, not financial engineers. We're in a tough fight, get fighters.
