97th Annual Daley Plaza Tree Lighting Ceremony Today

It will begin to look a lot like Christmas as the city's official tree lighting takes place Wednesday evening.

This evening, Mayor Daley, actress Joan Cusack and many others will gather in Daley Plaza for the 97th annual Daley Plaza tree lighting ceremony. This will be the last time Daley will lead the ceremony as Mayor of Chicago.

The 70-foot tree came from the Colomer family of McHenry, Ill., earlier this month.
