Had no idea what I was missing. I do my shopping through out the year & tool the thrift shops. Junking -- that's what I call livin' large.

black friday is everything that is wrong with america, c0rporatist selfish consumerism.

Better question: How many items bought on black friday were worth knocking over the old lady to get to them?

Answer: NONE

I'm starting to believe that the discounts that one would get on Black Friday are quickly negated by the medical bills one has to pay for damn near getting trampled to death to get the low-end HD TV @ 30% off instead of the regular price. Methinks I'll just save my dough for the day I can afford it and buy it then.

Besides, why do we kill ourselves trying to buy stuff that we'll be tired and bored with a year from now?

Oh how glad I am that I missed all the craziness. It's sad to see that the scariest ones are the moms and grannies at Toys'R'U, killing themselves over getting 20 different toys for their little ones.

I don't care how badly your little princess wants the new Dora the Explorer adventure house thing. Order online. Use manners in the store. Try to remember it's just the day after Thanksgiving...not the apocalypse.

I think some of you are being way too harsh. Some people can't afford to buy on other days, but might be able to on black friday because of the discounts.

They can't afford to buy on black friday either. They should save their money for a rainy day, not a low end lcd tv for their guest room.

Didn't stop those bargain shoppers from trampling a man to death at WalMart last year.
