Google Trends Falls Behind The Times

According to Google Trends, which tracks the most popular search queries, Tuesday morning's top searches are for the "best Cyber Monday deals."

Is there really a critical mass of people hunting for online bargains the day after they were offered? Doubtful.

It looks like Google Trends has fallen behind the times, displaying the top searches from yesterday, November 29, rather than updating the queries to reflect the most recent search trends. When it's functioning as it should, Google Trends will refresh its list of queries every half hour or every few hours.

Attempting to change the date on Google Trends does not solve the problem.

Have you had trouble with Google Trends or is it working for you? Users have taken to Twitter to gripe about the outage.
