Kimmel Reveals Secret Nicknames Of World Leaders From WikiLeaks (VIDEO)

First Posted: 11/30/10 11:02 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 07:15 PM ET

Last night on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," Kimmel jumped on the recent WikiLeaks release of over 200,000 secret conversations between world leaders. Unlike Jon Stewart, Kimmel was less concerned about the security threats that could arise from the newly leaked information and more interested in the secret nicknames of world leaders that were revealed. It turns out, everyone from Ahmadinejad to Sarkozy goes by some kind of hilarious moniker. If you don't mind, we'll just go ahead and refer to ol' Mahmoud as "Scruffy McWindbreaker" from now on.

"Der Wienerschnietzel" ?
Strange, the german magazine only unearthed one nickname for our dear Mrs. Chancelor: Teflon (apparently because of her tendency to let nothing stick to her).

That probably means that Kimmel made up the other ones, too.

Well, the nicks sounded genuine enough, considering how abrasive US diplomats talk about their contemporaries behind their backs ... not that I disagree how they judge the tossers in our esteemed leadership, mind your.

However, reference to Angela "Teflon" Merkel can be found here:

Less than half these nicknames were racist. I'm impressed.
