Charles Barkley Analyzes Obama's Basketball Skills On 'Conan' (VIDEO)

First Posted: 12/01/10 08:26 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 07:15 PM ET

Former NBA star Charles Barkley appeared on Conan Tuesday night and analyzed President Barack Obama's basketball skills. They discussed Obama's basketball injury that resulted in him receiving 12 stitches and then Conan asked how he would do playing against the president in a 1-on-1 game.

"I'm an old fat guy, but I'd kick his ass," the TNT basketball analyst said.

Barkley briefly talked about how he is nervous about LeBron James' return to Cleveland on Thursday night because he's not sure how the fans will behave. Scroll down to watch the video.

Charles was very funny regarding his friend, Michael Jordan with his weird mustache.

That's true. But he'd destroy you in a spelling test. Also multiplication tables.

I'm sure you wouldn't BET against that. Gambling addict.

I love it. Fanned. Charles would also win the donut, pie and taco eating contests!

The longer Barkley is off the court the better he gets.

Don't you mean, the bigger he gets?

Just because you have the ability to talk, doesn’t mean you should say disrespectful things to and about the President. Just say yes I can beat him and move on. Sure they are friends and that’s all well and good, but it’s just a continuance of the theory that you can say anything to and about the President.

with friends like that....

Oh, boohoo. He was cracking funnies on Conan. Do you really expect Charles Barkley to make a stoic, factual statement in a situation like that?

And really, compared to what is said about Obama by those on the right, it was nothing.
02:54 PM on 12/01/2010
OK, that may very well be true, but I'm sure Obama could kick his a-- in a battle of wits.

I met him once and he was a nice guy then. Lately he makes stupid comments for headlines. No one will doubt that an NBA superstar retired could play better ball than the President. Now if Barkley had made that statement about Lebron or someone currently playing I would like to see it.
