Celebs took the red carpets at several different events on Tuesday night -- but frocks and ballgowns beware: pantsuits are having a moment.

We were surprised when Leighton Meester stepped out in a suit and tie on Monday night, but even more stunned to see Halle Berry, Winona Ryder and Jessica Alba follow suit...in suits.

Halle would've looked like her usual stunning self if she didn't wear the matching pants to the jacket (if the pants had been black, etc). All that matching heavy-looking fabric makes it look like she's wearing curtains or upholstery fabric.
