Audrey Tautou's Style Evolution (PHOTOS, POLL)

French import Audrey Tautou first charmed Hollywood with her pixie Parisian look in "Amélie," and although her own style is more refined, it still has an ethereal allure that's oh-so-French.

Audrey's developed her look over the years and playing the part of Coco Chanel onscreen last year only helped. We'd say she's found a mélange between classic and quirky, perfect for her tiny frame and (quickly-growing) boyish haircut.

She's darling and has a wonderfully feminine, gamine appeal, very much like Audrey Hepburn in her younger roles. In time, I hope Audrey will learn to choose styles that feature simplicity and understatement--less fuss rather than more. She's too petite for fussy styles--and she's such a beauty, especially with her hair grown out, that I'd like to see her truly shine in what she chooses to wear.

I knew what you meant! She is beautiful, isn't she? It's the expressive eyes and brows that remind me of Audrey Hepburn, not so much in identical looks but rather in expressiveness. Miss Tautou is one of our era's most interesting actresses, I think. I've followed her since "Amelie."

Frankly, I think she looks a little like a kewpie doll. She's cute, though, and she certainly has talent. But she's no Audrey Hepburn.

I admit to be an unconditional fan of Audrey Tautou. Apart from the other positive remarks made by people here, I love the way she has maintained her privacy and controlled her image with very sparse but powerful public appearances.

She is what I love in a woman. Based on her comments and interviews, she is a very intelligent woman who has a sense of her own priorities in life. She is not about to be battered about by fame and wealth. A truly original and beautiful woman!
