It seems no neighborhood is safe from New York's insane real estate prices. The East Village, known for it hipster nightlife, restaurants, and shopping, is also home to a three-bedroom apartment renting for a staggering $30,000 per month.
DNAInfo spotted the property at 38 East First Street between First and Second avenues. At 5,000 square feet, the apartment lives up to the price (sort of). It has a 45 ft living room, ballroom, library, 16 ft ceilings, Corinthian columns and an entry hall with a gold leaf ceiling.
The listing, by Prudential Douglas Elliman, also states that the apartment is furnished.
