He did what he needed to do to take Steele down and now it's his turn to take over or do more of Rove's biddings I suppose. Stoopid Steele still doesn't know he was set up and will continue to be the clueless dummy he is at present. When will these black men understand they are not wanted in the GOP and will always be a whipping pole conveniently used at will "by" the GOP?

It's pure agony to keep watching this man sink even deeper in the dung they have prepared for him. Blacks still have a long way to go to see reality when it's looking them smack dab in the face.

Sudden quits...abruptly quits....unexpectedly quits... redundancy at it's best// that is what quit means.... to stop suddenly or abruptly to cease. if the RNC staffer had given a months notice, it would have been a resignation.

I love it when we minorities get sucked up into the political apparatus, thinking that somehow we'll be seen as different or be seen on merit. The putting-up of Michael Steele to run the RNC was just like Bush appointing Thomas, cynically crass. They did it for one reason, to counter a very popular black president. Well it worked and they no longer need Steele, or any of the other minorities , like gays, who have made up their party on the margins at least.

Why people associate with a bunch of people who would not have you at all is beyond me. I can only wonder what self-defeating shared beliefs these groups see in the GOP.

There should be a different party, maybe you minority guys and gals in the GOP should leave and become Indy's or something. Don't worry , you can still make silly votes for the GOP, but at least your not in bed with a party who wishes you harm and who would also use and discard you at will. I think you can do better. IMO of course.

"...that make the RNC so special," and so cute. Is that Reince or Prince?

He should be elected because he's _____. Fill in the blank.

M. Steele did the same thing as RNC Charman that he's always done. Used them to make money, ran an incompetent organization and steered money to his friends. And. he parties like it was "1999". Private jets for conferences in Hawaii. Redecorated his office and speeches under the name of RNC Chairman with a fee of $25,000.
