ACORN Chief Bertha Lewis: Glenn Beck Is A 'Political Necrophiliac' Having 'Congress' With ACORN's Corpse (AUDIO)

The former head of ACORN called Glenn Beck and Fox News "political necrophiliacs" who want to keep digging up the "corpse" of the defunct community organizing group.

Bertha Lewis, former CEO of the group, launched into what can only be described as an epic rant during an interview last week on the Internet radio show "Citizen Radio."

The repeated attacks on ACORN by Beck and others in the conservative media were proven to be, at best, severely factually challenged. But they did succeed in forcing the group to essentially shut down.

Lewis is clearly still smarting from the attacks, as she used seemingly every word in the dictionary to blast Beck, Fox News, Rupert Murdoch and the conservative media. They were all using the specter of ACORN to score cheap political points, she said:

"[After] beating us to death, right now, it's not enough that 'we won, we beat ACORN, we beat them down, the largest community group'...now, we've become political necrophiliacs. Not only did we kill this organization, but we're going to dig them up, and we're going to have all kinds of congress with the corpse, over and over again. So political necrophiliacs like Beck, like Murdoch, like Fox, like Limbaugh, like Mr. Breitbart,they should be called out for what they really are. They're carrion eaters, they're nasty, they're evil, they're liars, thieves and cheaters."

The attacks were factually challenged? Aiding and abetting criminal activity, which is what ACORN was shown to be doing at many of their locations, is why they've been defunded. And their loss of federal government funding was enacted by a Democratic Congress because ACORN's transgressions were so monumental. The rebuke was fully deserved.

Bull. They were defunded because the right wing doesn't like the idea of a group of uppity negroes registering other uppity negroes to vote. Case Closed.
The hidden pimpcan shenanegans were highly edited. If I pulled stunt like that at Kentucky fried chicken I could get a lot worse things on tape, but there's no political motivation to shut KFC down. The right wing has been afraid of ACORN for years because they registered poor people to vote.

That is exactly wrong. What was "exposed" but, sadly, not expunged was the "exposure" itself, as thoroughly manipulated, fake, and a witless, malicious, amateurish cheat, inflated by the enthusiastic dishonesty of people like Breitbart and Hannity.
Lewis is not only articulate and funny, virtually everything she said, every adjective she used, could be documented as factually correct. (Except for the purely figurative expressions, of course. But they are true in a deeper, poetic sense.)

By now we all know that the edited videos did not truthfully display what happened when super-dweeb Jimmy O'Keefe illegally videoed the ACORN employees. He did not wear his pimp outfit into the offices and he did allow the real dialog to be heard on the video.
