Don Julio showed off their fancy new tequila packaging in Chicago Monday night, wooing Hard Rock Hotel guests with tequila cocktails and a three course meal.
At the event, dubbed "Casa de Don Julio" (House of Don Julio), Chicago Don Julio Brand Ambassador Sonia Sotello shared some tequila history with the crowd. Don Julio González-Frausto Estrada, started building his empire in 1942 at the young age of 17, and is currently 85 years old as his company continues to thrive.
Attendees had the opportunity to taste five different types of Don Julio, along with cocktails made specifically for the dinner by Joel D. Barnes, a top local mixologist.
After the dinner, guests were invited to the 34th floor to see breathtaking views of the skyline as they continued tasting Don Julio Luxury Drops such as "snap, crackle, drop," "mink coat and no manners," and "Spanish raindrop."
