Conan Shows Spider-man Musical Still Having Problems (VIDEO)

First Posted: 12/08/10 10:24 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 07:15 PM ET

Ever since "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" opened on Broadway, the show has been plagued by problems including injuries and technical difficulties. We suppose that's what's to be expected when you turn a flying, web-shooting comic book character into a staged performance, and so does Conan O'Brien, who has been mocking the musical on his show for weeks.

Tuesday night, Conan showed another sneak peek of the musical, featuring members of his team in hilarious costumes (with appropriate casts and neck braces). We sincerely hope the cast of "Spider-man" stops injuring themselves, but we can't deny how entertaining Conan's interpretations of the musical have been. Wait until the end to see some special (and especially random) guests!

As someone who enjoyed SPIDER-MAN and feels its track record for safety had so far gotten a bad rap, I felt obligated to parody Conan's parodies of SPIDER-MAN.

To the tune of BAND AID's "DO THEY KNOW IT'S CHRISTMAS" which features BONO

I'm absolutely sure that Conan of all people knows this fact.
10:48 PM on 12/08/2010
For sure he knows that. It was part of the humor. I especially loved that one of Doc Ock's tentacles was in a sling.
