'Glee' star Jane Lynch responded to 'Modern Family' actor Ed O'Neill's remarks this week that she didn't deserve the Emmy she won earlier this year - but her response wasn't exactly Sue Sylvester-ian.
When reached by E! Online to comment about the diss, Lynch's representatives thanked columnist Ted Casablanca for his outrage, but not much else.
"Thanks for being repulsed," Jane's rep e-mailed. "But let it go, that's what we're doing."
In the new issue of TV Guide, O'Neill said: "I love Jane, honestly I do. I'm dying to star in one of Christopher Guest's movies alongside her, but I don't think she should have gotten the Emmy for that part. (Sue Sylvester) is just a one-note character."
Maybe this will put the issue to rest.
