Out and About Thursday: Miss Golden Globes Party, 'True Grit,' Ambassadors For Humanity, and UNICEF

Thursday night's events ranged from wacky-- Perez Hilton unveiling Lady Gaga's wax figure at Madame Tussauds in Hollywood--to philanthropic, and included just about everything in between. While Stephen Speilberg honored Jeffrey Katzenberg at the Ambassadors for Humanity Gala, Actress Monique Coleman and singer Katharine McPhee were on hand for the lighting of the UNICEF Snowflake At Snow90210 in Beverly Hills. And as Burlesque queen Dita Von Teese launched 'My Private Cointreau Coffret' at Fred Segal on Melrose, actors Jeff Bridges, Josh Brolin, and Justin Timberlake walked the red carpet for the premiere of "True Grit." The style last night around town was muted and elegant--black, white and neutrals seemed to be the trend--and nowhere was that more evident than at the Miss Golden Globes Party at Cecconi's Restaurant, where celebs like Sofia Coppola, Brittany Snow, and Olivia Munn gathered in simple, classic ensembles to honor Miss Golden Globe 2011, Gia Mentagna.
