If you thought public art was reserved for outdoor spaces and parks, think again. A new form of public art has emerged through twitter; it's founder? Tim Burton. Using the old surrealist technique, Cadavre Exquis or "Exquisite Corpse," of creating stories collectively, Burton has asked the twitter world to unite its creative forces and construct a new story for his character Stainboy. Everyday, from November 22nd through December 6th, people were asked to submit potential lines for the story, building on the last day's line. At the end of the day, the best line was chosen and added to the story. Now finished, the full story can be read on Burton's site.
