Jack Abramoff Concludes Stint At Kosher Pizza Shop

BALTIMORE — Disgraced Washington lobbyist Jack Abramoff has finished his stint working at a kosher pizzeria in Baltimore and is now on probation.

Abramoff was released from federal prison on June 8 but was on home confinement until his sentence for fraud, corruption and conspiracy ended this month.

A halfway house hooked him up with the job at Tov Pizza, a modest kosher pizzeria is in a heavily Jewish section of northwest Baltimore.

Tov Pizza owner Ron Rosenbluth tells The Associated Press that he enjoyed his time working with Abramoff and the former lobbyist was very helpful. Abramoff worked on marketing and customer outreach for the pizza shop.

Rosenbluth says Abramoff is under no obligation to keep working at Tov but he might stop by occasionally.

Redemption is an important concept in serving time for crimes. Abramoff has paid his debt to society and has paid for his crime. He should have a clean slate and be allowed to be judged on what he does for our society and himself from this point on. Note that I didn't say that he shouldn't be watched, but only that he be judged for his actions from now on.

ps If you disagree with the sentence he recieved, your beef is with the law.

Maybe while he was incarcerated, he came to understand and appreciate the harm his past actions had on victims. Since prisons are so well funded, perhaps the rehabilitation programs have worked wonders. Let's give him the benefit of the doubt and TRUST that he will make amends. LMAO!

Tov Pizza owner Ron Rosenbluth tells The Associated Press that he recently discovered he no longer actually owns the pizza shop that has been in the family for generations. It appears that after signing some paperwork Abramoff gave him detailing new coupons for distrbution, allowing for "2 medium double cheeses pizzas for the price of one" the ownership has been transferred to an organization called DeLays International Group, located somewhere in the South Pacific with funds transferred to an unknown shadowy Texas holding company. Ron has been fired and is not eligible for unemployment benefits.
