It was the setup of the season: several University of Illinois students constructed a snowman in the middle of a street one night and then waited, video camera in hand, for a car to run it over. As it happens, a Champaign-Urbana MTD bus driver drove out of his lane to annihilate the snowy statue to the students' delight. But when the video when viral, the driver was out of a job. The students have since created a Facebook page to help him. "You all probably have seen the infamous Snow Man being run over," they wrote. "But to our utter disappointment, the bus driver, who was doing his civic duty by cleaning the obstacle, was fired. Please join and help get this bus driver his job back." The page has more than 5,800 fans so far.
