LA Zoo Welcomes Elephants, 'X Life' Launch Party

It was a night of family fun yesterday evening in Los Angeles. At the Los Angeles Zoo, Billy the elephant welcomed new family members Tina and Jewel at the opening of the new Elephants of Asia habitat. To celebrate, musician Slash brought his two spitting images London and Cash. Garcelle Beauvais also brought her twins Jax and Jaid. Both Slash and Beauvais were on the host committee for the Los Angeles Zoo.

Across town at Beso in Hollywood, executive producer Joe Simpson let his daughter and son-in-law Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz tag along for the launch party of VH1's reality show "X Life." The show is about men in extreme sports--and "the women who love them." Freestyle motocross rider Jeremy Stenberg (one of the stars of the show) attended the party with wife Susie.
