Mariah Carey Having Twins, Nick Cannon Confirms

NEW YORK — Mariah Carey is going to be a mom twice over.

Nick Cannon announced on his radio show Thursday that his wife is expecting twins.

Said Cannon on New York's 92.3 station: "I haven't even told my wife I doing this so I'm probably gonna get yelled at for not getting permission. ... We are having twins!"

Mariah Carey's publicist Cindi Berger confirmed the news as well.

Cannon said two VIPs did get the scoop: President Barack Obama and wife Michelle. Carey told the first couple during a taping of a "Christmas in Washington" show.

Cannon added: "Both babies are healthy, in tiptop shape."

Carey, 40, and Cannon, 30, have been the subject of a baby watch since they got married after a whirlwind romance two years ago.

Yes you CAN JUSTJUDI and so WHAT? WHAT do you have to say about IVF? She miscarried in 2008, what is it to you HOW someone gets pregnant? There are MILLIONS of women out there that can't have children naturally, how DARE you say anything about it? Do you know what it is like to long for a child because you know you'll take good care of that child? And do you know just how many ignorant people out there have children that do NOT deserve them, that abuse them or mistreat them?

That's not true. I still wear the same clothes I wore before my twins, and was back in my old clothes (Shorts and skirts included), within a few weeks, if that. It doesn't mean that she will be ruined now (Her body), and even if she were harmed phsyically by her babies, so what?

A mom who wants a baby or babies for sooo long, and sooo badly, is glad to take whatever battle scars they get, though I will say we all prefer to not get any, it's worth what you get in return. I do NOT foresee the pop princess being now banned from the mini dresses. She will get back in every way!

Oh, and Mariah I want to say a BIG congratulations. I have loved you since I was a kid, and you were singing your 1st hit vision of love. Those twins will be just that, a vision of love, and I agree, they will be GORGEOUS!!
