Anne Hathaway Invites NYC School PS22 Choir To Academy Awards (VIDEO)

Anne Hathaway is hosting the Academy Awards this year -- and she's got way more than just one date.

The 'Love and Other Drugs' star, who is hosting the Oscars this year alongside James Franco, visited New York City's PS 22 on Thursday, as a special surprise guest for the school choir's Annual Winter Concert. As if that wasn't thrilling enough, Hathaway came on stage during the show and gave them all a gigantic holiday gift: she's taking the choir to Los Angeles to perform at the Academy Awards.

The students, predictably, went nuts in excitement over the new, not unlike some who actually win the awards. Check out the heart warming video below (via Just Jared):

It's about time Hollywood did something nice with the Oscars than just pat each other on the back.
Now the real question will be how many of the stars greet the kids and how many run the other way.

I've always liked Anne hathaway. She seems to appriciate where she is in life, and yet retains a nice empathy and likability. Her attitude reminds me of Sandra Bullock.
