Robin Roberts Snowmobiles With Sarah Palin (PHOTOS)

Robin Roberts landed a rare non-Fox News interview with Sarah Palin. The "Good Morning America" anchor traveled up to Alaska to record the interview, which aired on Friday morning. While there, Roberts also got in a little recreation time when she went snowmobiling with Palin and her daughter Piper. Robin actually survived a serious bout with cancer, and did it with real style and grace. Palin, on the other hand, hasn't survived anything really challenging, that I'm aware of.

Looks like Palin's smack down of the lamestream media is working, they got the memo, only ask Palin soft ball questions that are flattering to her, don't ask any questions that might expose it that all Palin has is sound bites, just let her sound off her memorized sound bites, don't ask any follow up questions, and keep it cute, talk about her snow mobile. Is this what United States has become? A place where the media can get the stuff smacked out of them and then they comply?

Earlier, someone wondered how Matthew, the Palin cousin with DS could be a twin, especially if his twin did not have DS. I offer a story from Mr.Lewis' own childhood. He remembers when he was growing up that there was a family a few doors away that had twins. The boy was born with Down syndrome; the girl was born without any problems. The father, who was probably in his 30's couldn't accept the boy, and he said terrible things about his own son in public. In those days, there was little understanding and little therapy. But, it is possible for the mother to have had twins, one with DS, one without.

Sarah made quite a big deal about not knowing what she was in for when she learned about the DS baby. In two seconds, she could have been reading information and looking at pictures on the internet. Mr.Lewis remembers seeing DS children when he was a kid, but we grew up in a big city where we were exposed to some of everything. When I had my first child, a young neighbor had a DS child, followed by three healthy, non-DS boys. I watched as she worked with him and really had him doing remarkable things, again, at a time when there wasn't much help available.

Yes, if the kids are fraternal twins, they come from two different eggs and sperm. Therefore, one can have the extra chromosome that creates DS. Identical twins start out as one egg and sperm, and then they divide into two separate zygotes. Therefore, both could be DS, or neither could be DS. But it would not be possible to have one identical twin with DS and one without.

Robin realizes unless you cater to Sarah and ask softball question Sarah will unleash mucho hate towards you on her twitter account for years and you will never get another interview, i.e. Katie Couric. Wonder if all the media is going to fall in line and bow to Palin to get interviews?

Looking at Chuckie looking at the blythe spirit sporting the worst governor ever blue sweatshirt and long red scarf, do you think he might have a clue that his B.S. spouting daughter isn't adored by everyone?

That maybe the Heath family is overexposed and really isn't admired?

I listened to Robin Roberts say the Chateau on the Lake was all about family. Huh? Like we all want a passel of snowmobiles, trucks, planes, T.V. studio facilities because its homey.

Most families do live together in homes, and somehow Palins is homier, more about family? I don't get it.

That little observation immediately clued me in that it was going to be all fluff and marshmallow goo from ABC. Lots of nothing but hackneyed bits and pieces of well rehearsed and used bull.

A giant glittery card of Thomas Kincaid kitsch with a snowmobile instead of a sleigh and iceskates. Now I'm partial to glitter and snow scenes of long gone days past, and even Thomas Kincaid gets out a few charmers, as all of us can be sentimental at times.

Palin doesn't make me sentimental about mom and apple pie and moose chili. She makes me want to shove a half of a grapefruit into that smirking face with its constant phoney smile and her chicklet teeth to shut out her schreiking voice.

Good morning Sarah! I just know you are reading the blogs today since you are expecting Gryphen's post. Hopefully this one comes as more of a surprise to you. I just wanted to say thanks for the confirmation that you read Palingates religiously.

Earlier in the week we were all discussing what our book-signing attendees could wear on their shirts under their big coats. We threw around things like "You are not Trig's birth mom" and "When is Bristol due (again)?" I see that you were fearful we might just do it and asked that people remove their coats this time. See, the thing is though, it doesn't matter if someone had put something on their shirt. It might not have been yesterday. It might not be tomorrow. But the day is coming in the very near future when you WILL have to face questions about Trig's true parentage. Some day, some where, someone will make a public scene that will catch your reaction on camera and will force the MSM to ask the right questions. That is, if your own party doesn't get you first. The truth WILL come out. It is coming, Sarah. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
