Amber Valletta Then & Now (PHOTOS)

In 1989, at the ripe age of 15 years old, Amber Valletta enrolled at Linda Layman Agency modeling school...and the rest is history. Within just a few years, the bombshell nabbed her own Calvin Klein contract, scored the covers of Vogue, Elle and Harper's Bazaar and met her future husband, male model Hervé Le Bihan.

Okay, so that last part didn't work out so well -- the pair divorced in 1996 and Amber went on to marry Olympic volleyball player Chip McCaw (and together they have a son). And in the meantime, she also dabbled in acting. But one thing that hasn't changed? Amber's audacity. She's still playing the modeling game and even posed nude for the cover of Love magazine this year. (See slide 23 for that.)

I would not be able to identify her in a line-up. To me, she has a very generic face. Kind of like Megan Fox and Kate Moss. I still cannot identify either women when I see random photos, either. Same goes for Daniel Craig (at least for me).

She will likely wear the years well as they pass. She's gorgeous. Great bone structure. Seems to have an inner vitality, and that's always alluring. Good on her.

Amber is adorable. She and Kevin James stole "Hitch" from Will Smith and Eva Mendes -- and stealing a movie from Will Smith is no mean feat. I would love to see Amber in more movies.

I've always liked Amber Valetta. Not just because we share first names, but having a rather high forehead like hers and always being self-conscious about it, she made me feel like it wasn't a bad thing and that it doesn't make you any less attractive. I know it's shallow, but its nice to see something of yourself in someone so lovely.
