Colombia was on Sofia Vergara's mind on Tuesday night -- for reasons happy and sad.
The 'Modern Family' star was a guest on 'The Late Show' with David Letterman Tuesday, and spoke about her favorite Christmas traditions in her native country. Sounded a lot like American Christmas, with eating, drinking, fighting, making up and making out listed prominently.
Then, Vergara turned to the disastrous winter Colombia is suffering -- they're experiencing their worst rain in nearly four decades. In fact, more than two million people have been impacted, including 279 that have been killed. Three hundred homes have been lost in the massive landslides and flooding.
Vergara, hoping to raise awareness and money, offered up her website, SofiaVergara.com, as a portal through which people could donate. It's a steep climb -- the country needs $6 billion to repair damages.
