Just like school. . . "I got 6 out of ten? What were the answers to the ones I missed?"

Playful quiz, but why not provide the correct answers to us if we got it wrong!!?
07:36 PM on 12/27/2010
I only got 3 out of 10. Most of these questions relate to secular matters of Christmas, bringing Christmas to the pagans, and the saints (and I'm not Catholic).

Why aren't the correct answers posted? If my answer was wrong why not let me know the correct answer? Well, I guess I will have to do a Google or Wikipedia search after all.

The claim that Victoria was the first British monarch to have a Christmas tree is wrong. She and Prince Albert popularised it, but the first was put up by Queen Charlotte (wife of George III) decades earlier.

Doubtful. Charlotte was from Hanover. Christmas tree customs originated from the Rhineland.

I'll bet you the Athiests get perfect....they seem to be the ones that study relgion the most. Funny how those that don't believe find time to know so much about what they claim not be believe.

How ironic that sounds, more of you christians should look for the "whole" truth then you to might get it perfect.

There is no single patron saint of Germany! There are many, depending on the region.

While this is true, Boniface is called "the Apostle of the Germans" lived in seventh century, and whose life is documented, thus has primacy over all other German saints.

Now what?

Frankly, this was very esoteric information, much of it centered on the history of the Catholic Church. I suspect 90% or more of people would miss 90% of these. Apparently, I got 6 of them right, despite the game responding that I got 9 of them right as I played. That's not too bad for someone who grew up not celebrating Christmas and who's not a Christian now.

Really??? Based on what??? What color??? I think that it's pretty safe to say that we don't really know the color of Jesus' skin, but I don't think that it really matters.
