Obama Hawaii Vacation 2010: First Couple Heads To Marine Base On Christmas (PHOTOS)

On Christmas afternoon, President Obama and Michelle Obama headed to Ander Hall at the Marine Corps Base to greet service men and women on the base. The Obamas have made the same visit the past two Christmases, so it was hardly a shock to see the first couple there.

According to pool reports, the first family's vacation neighbors stood along the curb and waved as the motorcade drove by.

The first couple wished diners a Merry Christmas; Michelle hugged nearly everyone she greeted; and talked to kids and adults alike.

According to pool reports, one little boy said to Obama, "Merry Christmas, Mr. President!" to which Obama replied, "No, she's Mrs. President." Obama asked a table of young kids if they got everything they wanted, to which a young girl replied that she got a new bracelet. President Obama then pointed to Michelle's wrist to indicate she, too, got a new bracelet; the two girls then compared their gifts.

The Obamas later had their own Christmas dinner at their home, with a meal that included steak, roasted potatoes, green beans and pie, according to Politics Daily.

To all the people hating on the Obama family here remember that on Christmas day while we were eating, celebrating with families, watching sports or whatever we do on Christmas our leader and his wife took time away from their loved ones to go and appreciate what we take for granted. Good job Mr. and Mrs. Obama!

Seasoning Greetings, Everyone. I hope your Christmas was wonderful and that you have nothing but Peace, Prosperity and Joy in the New Year.

I was traveling and just got home to these wonderful pictures.

That's MY President and First Lady.

What a wonder they are and we are so lucky to have them.

Keep them safe, because we are still in tough times and he has a lot to do, cleaning up the mess he inherited.

Love to everyone and Peace on Earth.

I'll say the mark of an intelligent man is who he chooses to be his partner and wife...Barack did rather well for himself; she continually impresses me, him less so.

My sincere hope when we entered this holiday season of love and joy, was that as Americans we could all take time off from the hate and division that has crept into our every day existence. Sadly for me and many others I'm sure, reading some of the hateful, downright unwarranted and spiteful responses to a sitting President and our First Lady spending time with our most valued soldiers on Christmas, is despairing to say the least.

President Obama and Mrs Obama are an example of what all marriages should represent, yet among some they're despised for their normalcy, their intellect, their dignity, their class and their humanity. Why is that? Why can't the President and First lady Obama be given the opportunity to just be themselves and be judged on their actions when deserved, but not so superficially, or because of one's ideology?

I am proud of the President and First lady for their class, dignity, compassion and humanity they display towards others, and especially their open affection and love for each other and their adorable daughters - they exhibit and exemplify the characteristics, values and morals that all Americans hold dear!

Let's strive to give credit where it's due, and strive also to be less hateful and divisive on a daily basis.......after all, we're all Americans, not red America and blue America - UNITED we stand, and DIVIDED we will surely fall.

Merry Christmas and a Happy, Safe, Prosperous and joyful New Year to all.

10 or 15 years from now, the parents will ask their kids "Remember when you met President Obama?" and of course, being infants, they won't. haha. But they'll have the photos to prove it. Lucky kids.

The President and First Lady are a handsome and down to earth couple. I have never seen another President or First Lady show such warmth when greeting the troops. and their families.

Beautiful pictures, Valerie Jarrett said this weekend they are to going make sure he gets out of DC more.I could not agree more. His demeanor among the politicians is cool and sometimes appear if he never gets emotional. However when he is in this setting , he comes across very genuine

The Obama's feel at home and at ease in any situation. When they were vacationing down in the Gulf to promote travel to the region they walked into a greasy spoon where they bought lunch. The patrons were stunned to see them there and they started chatting with people like they were regulars. You could see the faces go from awe to sincere appreciating. Gotta love them! I see the same in these pictures.

Michelle Strikes Again... THE HUGGER is back.

Seriously, I said it a while ago... but Michelle gives the best hugs and you can see the people getting hugs from her are loving them.

You can tell alot about how sincere and genuine a person is by their hug! And Michelle's HUGZZZZZZZZZZ ROCK!!

I never tire of seeing pictures of our First Couple.
I love our President with babies - he has such a natural way with them. I will keep dreaming until the day I can get one of those hugs from our First Lady.
