2010 FOR THE WIN: Year In Review Of People Being Awesome

As we close out 2010, it's difficult not to look back and think this was a rough year. The economy was in the tank (except for Wall Street, which, really, just adds to the pain), the environment took a big hit (thanks for that, BP), and the Tea Party stormed the political scene.

Oh yeah, and lots of people failed.

However, the year was not without its successes. As the people in the video below demonstrate, all you need to go for the win is moxie and little bit of luck. Sometimes a lot of luck. Either way. WIN. (via Daily What)

at 6:51 its Tony Hawk completing the first ever 900, on July 27th....1999. Not only is it not from this year, its not even from this decade.

i cant trust this video for anything, when they use 11 year old footage of tony hawk busting the first 900 as "2010 FTW".

Cool video. Some of these "wins" were questionable, though. That first guy splashing those kids with the big puddle was just a dick; and that guy taking the picture up a womans dress? How is that a win? I'm pretty sure that's a crime.

Great to hear that yo-yo bit set to 'Dirty Harry' by the Gorillaz. That railroad track win made my day. It's a great compilation of WIN.
