With no self-promotion or fanfare, one man in Cleveland, Ohio hands out bags of food and clothing to the needy of his local neighborhood.

He has been giving out care packages for the past eight holiday seasons, reports CNN. His goal is not recognition, but to share his wealth and spread cheer.

Along with winter coats and small meals, each bag of supplies also had a $10 bill stapled at the top. One recipient likened it to a fortune.

"I'm very thankful. To a lot of people on the street, $10 is $1 million."
