Charles Barkley Discusses Rex Ryan Foot Fetish Report

NBA analyst Charles Barkley weighed in on New York Jets coach Rex Ryan and the foot-fetish report posted on Deadspin last week on the Dan Patrick Show on Monday.

The former NBA star said that if he was on the Jets, he would joke with Ryan about the report.

"Well if I was on that team, the next meeting I would have every player and every coach come in without shoes on, something like that," Barkley said. "Dan that is the best thing about playing sports is the time you make fun of each other. Everybody comes in without their shoes on, something like that."

The report included four videos of a woman who looks like Michelle Ryan, Rex's wife, and her conversations with a man off-screen.

Ryan declined to comment on it, calling it a "personal matter."

Sure, it might good for a chuckle.  The key for Ryan is for the Jets to do well and make people forget his various quirks.  Losing makes them all seem much worse than they are.

The fact that the video got out doesn't strike me as an accident.  Some people go the extreme of posting sex videos online.  The Ryans are apparently content with mild fare such as this.
