Alaska Icy On Sarah Palin: Poll

Sarah Palin Alaska Popularity

First Posted: 12/28/10 11:14 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 07:20 PM ET

Not many Alaskans, Democrat or Republican, are fond of Sarah Palin, a recent Public Policy Polling survey finds.

According to the poll, Palin has a dismal 33 percent favorability rating in her home state. That's a 12-point drop from last winter, a similar poll finds.

The origins of her current ratings stretch beyond party lines, with the predictable chilliness of Democrats toward their former half-term governor matching the sentiments of both Republicans and Independents.

While Palin has substantial Republican support beyond state lines, 30 percent of the Alaskans surveyed by PPP view the former vice presidential candidate unfavorably. Among Independents, 65 percent have an unfavorable opinion of her.

Out of the ten states in which PPP has already conducted similar surveys on Palin's popularity, only the Democratic stronghold of Massachusetts has exhibited a lower favorability rating of the "mama grizzly" (27 percent).

As PPP notes:

What's more relevant is that a majority of voters in every single state we have polled so far on the 2012 race has an unfavorable opinion of her.

Those states include Ohio, North Carolina, Florida and Virginia, but no deep-red conservative strongholds yet.

The more you get to know about SP, the more there is to dislike about SP.

Fortunately for the nation, SP's love of money seems to outweigh her lust for power. While she may mount a run in the primaries, her own actions post 2008 have irreparably tarnished her to the point where her credibility is limited to a small fringe of rabid supporters.

The wonderfully ironic part is that while she has no serious political potential left, the blind enthusiasm of her base is going to undermine the GOP for a long time.

Thank you, John McCain. Obama 2012!

Now that all of you Palin haters finally have found a poll that makes you feel good, you can now go focus on some other conservative celebrity you can run down for a change. You have done your job. Congratulations.

TLC’s Sarah Palin’s Alaska Jumps the Shark by Attacking Critical Blogger

This is pure vintage Palin. She can make an enemy out of thin air. Because, see, no one is stopping loggers in Alaska. No evil environmentalists are stopping “progress” in Alaska. This is another Palin v No One fight, where the viewer gets to plug in the evil guy (who is always a liberal and usually in the White House).

Facts about The Half Term Governor Quittypant s Palin:
http://and rewsulliva n.theatlan tic.com/th e_daily_di sh/2009/07 /who-quits -in-the-fi rst-term.h tml
Of all of the men and women who’ve been elected governor of their state since the year 1900...Ove r 1200 politician s have taken that first-term oath of office.
Some soon died in office.
Many resigned to accept other positions in government , including Spiro Agnew who was “tapped” by Nixon after being the Governor of Maryland for about five minutes.
On a handful of occasions, a first-term er was dragged off to the slammer or impeached.
One was incapacita ted by a nervous breakdown and one left just as impeachmen t came knocking on his door.
So—how many out of over 1200 just up and quit before the end of their term?
Three: Jim McGreevy, Eliot Spitzer and Sarah Palin

The first two names quit due to sex scandals.
That leaves Quittypants Palin who just up and quit.

So far none of those that support her can come up with rebuttals against the above facts

I wish to point out to everyone that this term Mama Grizzly is quite offensive. It is INSULTING female grizzlies who maim and kill when you get between them and their young!

And that begs a salient question which I will leave you all to pose...

For most people, it's usually not easy to be respected in their hometown. Even Jesus or prophets were hated, ignored in their hometown.
But in this case, it may be a different story.

Maybe it got real peaceful when she left the state, and they realized that she and her out-of-control, undereducated brood were the problem all along.

The whole business about Sarah Palin being president falls into the same bizarre world where Reagan and Bush were presidents as merely puppets for the those behind the scenes doing the evil work.

Does anyone think she could do the day to day hard work of being an executive of the world's greatest superpower? Oh, no!  She'd simply read scripts prepared by others like Reagan and Bush, not really comprehending what she was saying, so Q & A would be 'off the table' for 4 years.

Yessiree.  'Common sense' tells me that Sarah Palin is not fit to be president.
