TheStreet.com released their list of the 5 ugliest airports in America, as voted on by 5,718 website readers.
The criteria, however, was called into question by users as the website only gave readers the option of voting on six airports around the country.
TheStreet.com says in their poll:
We tried to stick with major airports because so many people are familiar with them. About 400 U.S. airports have scheduled service and we don't pretend to know something about all of them. Also, we fully realize that many airports have some ugly terminals and some beautiful ones -- Kennedy comes to mind.
So is the list fair? There are hundreds of airports around the country, some probably much uglier than Lambert-St. Louis, for instance. (Though in our personal estimation, LaGuardia, which won the #1 spot, is pretty horrendous).
