This fiber-friendlier version of the Whopper is similar to the original but contains the green vegetable and Emmental cheese.

Sadly - or happily for the many who loathe brussel sprouts - the Surprise Sprout Whopper is only available in the UK until the end of the day Friday.

I think Brussels sprouts have gotten a bum wrap. I tried them for the first time last week, just tossed in a little olive oil and baked, and they were delicious!

Let's see...put a meal with a vegetable on the menu...granted a veg that few like...then you can claim "but we offered veggies and no one ate them. Than go back to greaseburgers. Or am I wrong?

You have to fry them with bacon and onions. Bacon makes anything possible.

That may be true, but I'm not going to run out and buy some.

I hope Burger King rememberd to fill them with mozzarella and then deep fat them first. Untherwise their customers may fall into fits and seizures....

As someone who has been waging a campaign (“The ABC’s of Fruits & Vegetables and Beyond”) to get kids to eat more of these important foods you think I would be happy with BK. But BK seems like just another part of the anti-veggie conspiracy by choosing one of the least liked vegetables around (even though chefs have learned lately to do much better with BS). If you want lots of vegetables in your fast food or restaurant meals check out “Healthy Highways” a guide to 2800 healthy eateries in the US.
