Blizzard Creates Park Avenue Ski Run (VIDEOS)

The great blizzard of 2010 produced a surprising amount of art, including two documentary short films that are actually worth watching.

The snowpocalypse also enticed New Yorkers to try new cooking in their apartments and walking to work. New York Magazine reports that one Flatiron resident took to the streets armed with a pair of ski's and a car full of friends, ready to videotape the action. Watch as he flies down normally busy streets, reaching speeds up to 40 miles per hour. The skier admitted to the magazine that "we kinda pushed it more and more as we tested the streets, until we finally decided to gun it down Park Avenue. My friend's amateur opinion of the conditions outside prompted my bravado."
